Ghislaine Maxwell Sentenced to 20 Years for Sex Trafficking of Minors

Disgraced pedophile and the late Jeff Epstein sex trafficking ringleader Ghislaine Maxwell was sentenced June 28 to 20 years in prison for luring young teens into a sex trafficking ring run for a decade.

The harsh punishment doled out marks one of the most significant punishments for the years of abuse Maxwell and Epstein imposed on young girls.

“This sentence holds Ghislaine Maxwell accountable for perpetrating heinous crimes against minors,” says Selah Freedom’s Breanna Cole, and Outreach Advocate who has been a survivor for years thanks to Selah Freedom’s strong rehabilitation programs.

when my trafficker was arrested,” Cole said. “I had more than one trafficker and was caught up in that life and didn’t realize that there was a way out for a long time”

Seeing the news that 60-year-old Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in prison for her role in the sex trafficking of minor girls, Cole said she is upset. “ I truly feel that she should have gotten more time.”
