Leadership with Purpose: Conversations at the Intersection of Work, Faith, and Impact
Lee Scott, the former president and CEO of Walmart, will headline a networking and speaking event in Sarasota on Tuesday, September 15.
The Sarasota event will provide an opportunity for business and community leaders to hear Scott share insights on leadership, purpose, faith, and the responsibility of organizations and individuals to lead with integrity.
The event will take place from 8:00–9:30 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, 104 S. Pineapple Ave., Sarasota, FL 34236. Tickets are $25 and all proceeds will benefit SPARCC (Safe Place and Rape Crisis Center) and Selah Freedom, an organization dedicated to combating human trafficking.

Holistic Wellness Proceeds Donation
From July-September, New Life Holistic Wellness will be donating 25% of the proceeds from their coaching services to Selah Freedom.
Coaching Programs include:
A 12-week coaching program focused on creating lasting change in health, mindset, and daily habits through personalized strategy and accountability. Clients meet weekly for one-hour sessions, where we identify challenges, implement practical solutions, and build sustainable routines that create real, long-term transformation.
Based on the work of Dr. Stephen Masley and developed in partnership with the Health Coach Institute, this program supports heart health through nutrition, movement, and lifestyle changes. Weekly one-hour sessions guide clients through actionable steps that improve energy, cardiovascular health, and daily habits in a sustainable way.
Based on the work of Dr. Brian Mowll and developed in partnership with the Health Coach Institute, this 12-week program focuses on improving blood sugar balance through practical nutrition and lifestyle strategies. Weekly one-hour sessions help clients build consistent habits that lead to measurable and lasting results.
